What does Verified mean in MyNMIT?

As part of enrolling for your study at NMIT we are obligated to validate your citizenship.

To do this we will ask to see an original or verified copy of an identity document e.g Passport or birth certificate.

Often, if you are already studying or have previously studied with us then we will have completed this process. If you were to re-apply for another programme or short course, you may be prompted to provide this documentation again, but in this case you do not need to.

A handy way to check is to look for the Verified stamp at the top of the MyNMIT Dashboard.

If you see this then you have been fully validated and do not need to provide further documentation. Great, saving you time to go more studying - or make a cup of tea!
