If you are experiencing difficult circumstances and do not have access to a device or laptop you can request a loan laptop via the Technology Access Fund for Learners (TAFL) to help with online or off-campus study.  

Requests can be made through your tutor, SANITI, Te Puna Manaaki, Pasifika Support, or the Wellbeing Team. 

The loans are medium to long-term and issue to an individual for the duration of their course.

A subsidised internet scheme provided by Skinny is available if you don’t have WiFi broadband at your home address, refer https://www.skinny.co.nz/jump/home/

The laptop scheme is not generally available for international students or those on short courses, or as temporary loans of less than a month.
