Where is the best place to save files I download at NMIT

By Default Windows save all files you download into your Downloads folder, in the past this has led to slow login times for Student's.  

At NMIT the downloads folder is no longer a "roaming" folder and  items you download at a PC will only be available on that PC.

If you wish to save files to another location, choose "Save As" at the time of downloading and choose an alternative on your NMIT network drive (H drive).

Your downloads will then be available to you on any NMIT PC
