Places on many programmes and courses fill quickly so it’s best to apply early to avoid disappointment. The enrolment process also takes time, especially if you need to attend an interview, so early application (at least a few weeks in advance) is strongly advised.

The majority of NMIT programmes have intake dates at the beginning of the year (January/February) and many also offer mid-year start dates (June/July). However there are also some programmes and courses with different start dates, specific application cut-off dates or with multiple intakes throughout the year, so please check the Programmes and Courses information on our website for the actual start dates for the programme you wish to study.
