You will be emailed a current loan receipt with the due date of your items at the time of issue, or you can check when they are due by signing in to the Library Catalogue. It is essential that you check your NMIT student email frequently, as this is where the Library sends notices, including overdue reminders.
We recommend that you download the Liberty Link Mobile app to manage your Library loans easily from your phone.
Items not returned within one month after the due date will be deemed lost, and you will be invoiced for the cost of the outstanding item. Invoices are sent to the postal address on your MyNMIT profile and to your NMIT student email.
A refund of the book cost is available when you return it to the library.
You may be suspended from borrowing when loans are overdue.
We encourage you to contact us if you are unable to return items by the due date. You can email library@nmit.ac.nz or reply to our reminder notice.
