Yes, NMIT students travelling from Motueka, Mapua, or Wakefield are able to use the Nelson Coachlines Paid School Bus runs, Mondays to Fridays during the secondary school term.

Students should arrive at the pick-up locations 5 minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up times.

A Transportme smartcard is required for payment; these can be purchased from either of the Nelson Colleges or from Nelson Coachlines by cash or bank transfer. Contact Nelson Coachlines to arrange payment and delivery of your card.

Nelson Campus stop

The Mot 3 drop-off/pick-up area for Nelson Campus students is outside T Block, Nile Street, opposite Nelson Central School.

Drop-off time is approximately 8:40 am, and pick-up is at approximately 3:10 pm.

Richmond Campus stop

The morning drop-off area for Richmond Campus students is located at the A&P grounds gates, closest to NMIT on Lower Queen Street.

The afternoon pick-up area is across the road for the return journey to Motueka.

Drop-off time is approximately 7:55 am, and pick-up is at approximately 3:50 pm.
