What's the difference between an award and an academic transcript? - HOW DO I / Applying / Transcripts and awards - NMIT Support

What's the difference between an award and an academic transcript?

An award (sometimes called a testamur or award certificate) is issued by NMIT in recognition of successful completion of your qualification. An award has the name of the qualification you've completed and is issued with your full legal name. Each NMIT award has a unique number.

An academic transcript will also be provided when your award is first issued. The transcript is a formally issued and verified document detailing your academic record of all study undertaken at NMIT. It identifies course titles, credits, levels, and results that you were granted, and the qualifications you were awarded, during your enrolment at NMIT.

These will either be presented to you if you attend a Graduation Ceremony, or can be posted to you, or held for you to collect.
